Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop new technical ideas from proof-of-concept, to prototype, to production-level beta unit, to finished product.
  • Support Operations team with required documents.
  • Modeling / drawings of the detailed parts.
  • Support the manufacturing challenges during initial launch of a new product.
  • Travel to manufacturing and customer test sites 25-50%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food/Biological Engineering
  • 5-10 years in the mechanical design of Industrial Equipment.
  • Project Management and Food Industry Experience a plus
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Experience with Ansys or other FEA software a plus.
  • SAP a plus.
  • Able to travel domestically/internationally 25-50%.
