Press Brake Operator Job Responsibilities Include

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, or punch metals.
  • Bend products or assemblies.
  • Setup up metal dies in performing operations in forming
  • Requires aligning, fitting and rework pieces that fail inspection.
  • Select and install tooling, make machine adjustments.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers.

Press Brake Operator Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience operating a press brake and has used calipers and micrometers.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Lift up to 70 pounds with or without assistance, bend, twist and reach.
  • Ability to grip, twist wrist and tighten hands. Standing 6 hours a day.
